“Daiichi Kosho“, a karaoke system company, have revealed the top picks for their karaoke request ranking. The survey period spanned from the beginning of 2011 up until June 11th, and ranks the most popular karaoke songs for the first half of 2011.
AKB48 managed to dominate the first half of 2011, as well as Korean idols KARA and Shoujo Jidai (SNSD).

Bump of Chicken reveals CM for their new song, “Tomodachi no Uta”
Bump of Chicken’s new song, “Tomodachi no Uta” (Song of Friends), will begin on-air promotions beginning on February 17th, starting with a commercial.
“Tomodachi no Uta” is being used as the theme song for the movie “Doraemon New: Nobita and the Iron Warriors - Fly, Angels!-“, which will be released in March, and the single itself will be released ( Read more... )
